I have been using FSX for quite a while and also recently P3D and now I have released that I have quite a lot of add ons installed. What i would really like to do is make a proper back up of my system so in the event something goes horribly wrong then i am not in the position of having to reinstall everything. ( I think its called making an image? )

 

At the moment my FSX is on a 500GB SSD and my P3d is on my HDD, I am fairly new to Windows 7 and I have found " create a system image" via the back up and restore center, will this do what i want it to or do I need to purchase a piece of software?

 

Also is it easy to back and and restore an image?
