May 14, 200521 yr Give Owen Hewitt's Bell 206B a shot, it's right here in the Avsim library.b206b3.zipJim
May 14, 200521 yr Author I also recommend Owen's 206.You can also grab this set for the Bell 205 at HC which is file name Bell_205_LCSDIt is currently on Page 4 of the helicopters:http://69.44.154.34/cgi-bin/ifolio/imageFo...ads/HelicoptersAs for difficulty, I have set up a seperate msfs.exe profile just for helicopters and that way I have seperate settings for planes or helicopters and which one I start up dictates what I'll fly. As for settings there are recommendations at HC for where to set things up.There is also a helicopter tutorial here at Avsim too by Bear which I highly recommend as well.Library Tutorial Link:http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...misc&DLID=50191Have fun,JoeGrab My FREEWARE Voice recognition Profiles here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=58334]Cessna 172 Voice Profile[/a][a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=60740]FSD Avanti Voice Profile[/a].You will need the main FREEWARE Flight Assistant program to use it, get it here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=genutils&DLID=39661]Flight Assistant 2.2[/a] CryptoSonar on Twitch & YouTube.
June 7, 200619 yr I had no idea the Aerosoft Manhattan scenery was soooo good until I saw it listed in a thread here on "best scenery". Now I feel the need to fly a good chopper around the Big Apple. What's a good one (payware or freeware)? I see many listed as "easy to fly" but helicopters aren't supposed to be easy to fly. Yet, I have heard the default bird is unrealistically hard as well. What would our diehard chopper fans suggest? ThanksDavid Lee
