December 28, 201411 yr Hey guys, need some help on this... Firstly, I know FSX and Nvidia cards always work together much better than Radeon cards, however... I don't know all the specific manufacturers, but here's my setup: Intel Core i5 2500k (OC to 4.2Ghz normally) SYX P8Z68-VLE motherboard Radeon HD6770 2x 4 gb DDR3 RAM Dynex DX-520WPS PSU 2x 7200 rpm 500 gb HDDs, one 64 gb SSD 1 case fan, 2 fans on Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo push/pull config I'm ideally looking to upgrade my GPU to a Radeon R9 270X, but I want to be confident my PSU can handle it. Otherwise, I'd have to settle for probably a plain 270 or a R7 260X. I'm looking at those cards because they're the best performing ones for $100-130 range. I can easily pick up a 270X on ebay for that range, the 260X being less. Will my PSU/everything else be able to handle it? Thanks for your input in advance *NOTE: I also play BF3 and BF4 on this computer, so this GPU will have more purpose than just FSX. If it was just FSX, I'd go Nvidia.* James Schroeder 7900X3D | 4080 Super | G.Skill 64gb 6000mhz CAS36

No need to post anymore 500 Watt PSU just a bit too low for comfort. Suggest 650 Watt minimum. Very little difference in price. gb. YSSY.
