Old FSX pilot returning to fresh start with P3D

Thanks for the help Rob. Ive been flying P3D 2.4 now for a week with ORBX Global and Vector and the North America Scenery. And ive come to a conclusion.

As much as i have loved orbx scenery areas. They have simply outdone themselves with Global and vector. I really don't see the need to have scenery areas installed if you have global and vector installed.

Not doing so frees you from having to use FTX Central to switch areas and for me at least, opens up the whole world instead of confining me to a certain area. I am sure others have felt these constraints also.

I plan soon to get FS Global 2010 for their excellent Mesh. And hopefully with this addon i can get close to having the detail of a ORBX scenery area worldwide. The new Landclass addons they are releasing also look to be a must have.

So soon, ill be doing a reinstall of P3D and just keeping it simple with global and vector and landclass.

And yes, the sim runs great without any tweaking, just have to get your setting sliders right.
