How do I??

Featured Replies

Hi,I have a problem with FS9 concerning the use of separate thrust levers. The keyboard assignment for throttle 1-2 toggle is "E": when I press E+1 I get the left lever working, but when I press E+2, I still can only use the left throttle. Then, even if I press E+1+2 quickly, in no way I can go back to both throttles. I tried many times, also very quickly, and I also assigned E+1 and E+2 to joystick buttons, but no way of having it work, only the left lever. Is there a way of getting it to work? Thanks!

The select engine command is tricky, just like opening a second door, on certain add-ons. This can be attributed to various things, such as a panel gauge that intercepts key presses, etc. The only way I know to make this work well is to use FSUIPC. Under the "Hotkeys" tab, you'll find you can define a key to resume control of all throttles and another to sync various throttles that may have been controlled separately. If you go to the "keys" tab, you can define keys for selecting individual engines by using the "Engine" command and the "Select 1" or "Select 2" commands. Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to select multiple engines at the same time using this method.Hope this helps,Davidhttp://img250.echo.cx/img250/2845/b18sig5kd.jpg
