I am on SU2 beta and the overall experience is quite good, but what ruins everything are the stutters on the runway when landing (and also a little bit at takeoff), in many custom airports. In the same situation 2020 is butter smooth... Also the fps are better... Even if in 2024 hey are quite good, if I switch to 2020 after flying with 2024, I am surprised by the sensation of smoothess...

So if I don't have FSHud yet and I want to purchse v1.3, then try v2 alpha, I can't do that?

For me it was a waste of money. I have a 3080ti and use FSR3 Frame Generation. same results, with the difference that LS causes a lot of smearing/tearing when I move my head up and down with TrackIR...

Hi, just installed it, but once in a while I hear a noise similar to a 737 trim wheel (I use the Fenix 320). I found out it is one of the files RT_Turb_HI.wav or RT_Turb_NORM.wav, but what's the sense of that sound? Not realistic at all. Can I disable them?

What is DR fix?

Found! In UT2 it is called "SAS Scandinavian Airlines", therefore it must be "SAS Scandinavian Airlines,SCANDINAVIAN,Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) - Sweden,0, 0". The crosscheck needs to be done with the UT2 interface for all the airlines...

HI, I have been trying all the day to make RC4.3 say "Scandinavian" instead of "Sierra" with UT2, but without success. I checked c4.csv and it's correctly written "SCANDINAVIAN,SCANDINAVIAN,Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) - Sweden,0, 0", while in Aircraft.cfg I have "atc_airline=SCANDINAVIAN". Further, the "Scandinavian.wav" file is present in all ATC folders inside Winwood folder. I increased the spawn distance in UT2 to 40 Nm, but there is no way... This happens both on the ground and in cruise. Other airlines are correctly spoken. What else could I try? Thank you!

Hi Kyle, crossing fingers about the card, it's only one and half years old... Anyway yesterday I did a 90 minutes flight and did not have the issue, let's be optimistic... Thank you.

Thanks Dan. It was at the end of a 40 minutes flight and at the end of a quite intensive P3D testing day. Maybe something related to video card stress? The gpu temperature was anyway 60°C, I don't think it's too high. The day after no more dots, but I used the computer for only about one hour. Will check again during the coming days.

Hi, has anyone experienced small white dots flashing very quickly here and there on the VC window center frame and on the glareshield external frame? I had it happening a couple of times in the last days. They flash so quickly that it's not easy to realize, but if you look carefully you see them. I have P3D v 3.3. Thanks.

Well, I used it with FSX just before upgrading my computer and I was almost about to quit upgrading... Even if the fps did not increase a lot, it gave FSX a smoothness never experienced before, and it was really a joy to fly... That's why I am curious to try it on P3D...

Affirmative, Bryan. The announcement is made after each touch and go, after I ask to select flaps 5. All the rest in the t&g sequence is perfect.

Hi Bryan, I was doing some touch&goes with the NGX, yesterday, with SOP #3. After each takeoff (with flaps 15 in the touch&goes), when I ask for flaps 5, the FO sets flaps 5 and then says "cabin crew seat for landing". Considering that the T&G are during training flights, therefore no cabin crew is present, is it possible to remove that announcement? Thank you and best regards, James

Hi, I use ASN on a 10 years old laptop with Win XP, networked with my FS computer and up to now ASN has always worked flawlessly. Will I have problems running AS16+ASCA on that laptop? Thanks.

I am a bit concerned that Robert only mentions FSX... I thought that P3D can now reasonably be considered as the "main" simulator, since it outdoes FSX and leaves it behind in many aspects... I hope the P3D version will be just a few days behind...

Based on the two videos, I would with no doubt say that REX is better as to cloud depiction and effects (rain shaft is fantastic and CB clouds look much better). But yes, still quite early to judge...
