August 2, 20169 yr Hi, anyone knows if FSPS Fiber Accelerator is going to be updated for P3D v3.3? The present version is up to 3.2 only. Thanks. James Goggi
August 2, 20169 yr Not too many good reviews of this product. Lots of negative ones though. Probably better to stay away from it. /2ct -Roland
August 2, 20169 yr Author Well, I used it with FSX just before upgrading my computer and I was almost about to quit upgrading... Even if the fps did not increase a lot, it gave FSX a smoothness never experienced before, and it was really a joy to fly... That's why I am curious to try it on P3D... James Goggi

August 2, 20169 yr I use Fibre Accelerator with P3D and find it very good. It does seem to help with smoothness if nothing else.
August 4, 20169 yr Given LM's improvements, I would not recommend it in P3D. I tried it in FSX, but it was a waste of money. Regards, Chris -- PC: Intel 13900K, Gigabyte Geforce RTX 4090, 64GB Fury Beast DDR5 RAM; Display: Varjo Aero VR

I used it with very good experience. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
August 4, 20169 yr I must say it was a great purchase. I was at times struggling with Judders but found this helped by limiting or using unlimited fps setting on the fly(so to speak). Its not expensive and worth a bash. Im sure there is a demo version you can get.
August 5, 20169 yr FSAccelerator will help in certain situations and certain systems without the need to apply buffer pool or FFT tweaks in the fsx.cfg. The benefit with low-end hardware will be higher than with high end hardware. With the latter it can be that most of the time you see NO effect.
