  1. I must say it was a great purchase. I was at times struggling with Judders but found this helped by limiting or using unlimited fps setting on the fly(so to speak). Its not expensive and worth a bash. Im sure there is a demo version you can get.
  2. I use Fibre Accelerator with P3D and find it very good. It does seem to help with smoothness if nothing else.
  3. Yeah always run Admin, looks like an AVG issue, they are looking into it now.
  4. Hi, never use download managers. Downloaded and installed twice. I have even updated Rex textures and soft clouds. Looks like a ticket will have to be submitted.
  5. Hi, On the first initial start after install, splash screen comes on for a second or 2 then it just goes off. Nothing in taskbar, in fact it is so quick it doesnt even show in task manager. Very confusing. I did have ASN installed first then upgraded, uninstalled both then installed AS16 and same problem.
  6. Anyone getting the AS16 splash screen then going off with no warning or error?
  7. Just be aware, its still in beta testing and not as yet available for download. I jumped in with both feet, paid for it and then realised that its not yet out. Ooppss.
  8. I've sort of same issue but it is with Reshade. I've tried every reshade with Sweetfx combination only to get CTD instantly. Sweetfx is fine by itself, I want to get Field Of Depth from Reshade.
  9. I bought MS 2 last week when it was cheap. It was the British Isles. I can confirm that Night Environment British Isles works great. Lots and lots of lights and very little frame drop. Hope this helps some one.
  10. Thanks for reply. I know that mce can handle the default atc radios when Im busy but will MCE handle the radios with Radar Contact? I love the interaction with MCE but would love the FO to control ATC instructions. David.
  11. Sorry to butt in but does that mean MCE can have full control with Atc via Radar Contact without me speaking to ATC?
  12. I have installed the demo earlier today and my first impressions are very high. On my system( i7 4770k, 8gb ram and a slightly underpowered 7870) with the frame rate slider at unlimited has always given me the best overall performance with the odd frame spike here and there. What I have noticed with this program is that it changes the performance from my minimum 25fps upto unlimited even though I set it up for 45( as per instructions). This to me have made my system perform very well, I don't see the frame drop spikes that I was seeing. I have 5 more demo hours left but up to now I'm very impressed.
  13. Very sorry if this has been asked b4 but will MCE take over communications with VOXATC?
  14. In prepar3d I renamed texture and effects folder and replaced them with "dummy" named folders. Ran the installer with EMT enabled and once finished I had the dummy folders with files in them. I copied the newly installed files into the original backed up folders and renamed them back to their original state. Fired up p3dv2 and still the wormhole/vortek effect. I am puzzled why some have got this to work. User error maybe but don't think so.
  15. Thanks for response, how do I do a "dummy" install when PrecipitFX just installs without any prompts? I looked in the backup files from EMT, would it be in there? I don't have FSX installed. Thanks.
