Range Check Error

Featured Replies

Howdy gents,

It's been awhile; been away from simming.  So, I recently got back into it and have been troubleshooting some hardware issues and decided to install 2.5.7.  Seems to work great.  Although, when I load it, it says "Range Check Error". I use an VRInsight MCP I, a VR Insight MSPanel and CH Eclipse yoke.  They all seem to work, so I'm not sure where the error is fun or how to isolate it.

Thanks in advance for any trouble shooting advice.

Hi RealPilot

Welcome back to Flt Sim and LINDA. Due to my inability to test any LINDA updates with the older original MCP panels, it is recommended that you use Version 1.13. Installing this version with overwrite 2.5.7 and get you back to a working system. Alternatively, use the backups to made (you did do that didn't you?).

I do have the backups.  I do like the newer version though and wouldn't mind checking it to try and isolate the problem.  What is a "Range Check Error" and what are the symptoms I would expect with it?
