Don't know what to do…

I have a quick question for people apart of the PMDG works or for people who have an inside. I am a current X-Plane 10 user. I've been following these forums for quite some time now; looking forward to the new release for X-Plane! : ) Just recently I bought FSX:SE. I know in a few days you guys will be supporting that version of FSX. Now, my question is do I wait for the release for X-Plane or do I buy the product when it becomes compatible with FSX:SE? I know that I will primarily be using X-Plane in the long run because I have already put money into it but I'm also interested in seeing FSX new potential. All I'm looking for is for a wait or not. Not looking for a release time for X-Plane or an aircraft type. Thanks, hope you can help (will be bummed if I end up paying $50+ for the same aircraft in the same year).

Frank-

Right now we have a product in development, which is our first for Xplane.  We have not disclosed what it is, except to say that it isn't the NGX, 777 or 747.

This first project is a development sandbox for us, since we have no practical experience developing for Xplane.

Once we have that product finished, we plan to convert one of the existing airliners- but we haven't determined which of the three will be first into conversion.

That being said- I think it will take us some time to get either the NGX, 777 or 747 into Xplane just yet...

I hope that helps your decision!

Yes, thank you for further explanation. Might just go ahead and purchase the NGX and pray to God that a X-Plane product doesn't come out till next December! : )

Thank you for bettering my understanding : )
