Hi, I am using Radar Contact in combination with CP flight radio modules on a pedestal. I want to use a separate (small) numeric key pad to enter RC commands in stead of using my (large) keyboard. However, RC won't accept commands from the key pad and only works on the alfa-numeric part (numbers above the letter keys) of my keyboard. Does any one know of a way to get this working? Would be of great help and further enhance my home cockpit.

On a regular keyboard keypad numlock must be on. I just tested.

 

If numlock is off you get the special codes (home, etc.).

 

I assume you are using the number characters in RCs keyboard assignments.

 

For the extension keypad see if their is a default numlock set on it or does it come with a numlock key. If not, see if the numlock key on the main numlock pad affects the mode of the extension key pad.
