FMC CO ROUTE

Featured Replies

This a question that probably has been asked and answered previously but if so, I cannot find it, Either on this forum or tutorial #1.

How do I open the co route menu in my FMC. Previously all my 777 routes were in PMDG/FIGHT PLANS/77. Previously all I had to do was press request and if I  had the flight plan already in my PMDG/FIGHT PLANS/777folder it came up but now I a using PRO ATC for my ATC and they supply the flight plan. On all the instructional videos I have seen, when they press LS Co Route they are presented with a menu and the PRO ATC flight plan is there.

many thanks

Assuming the PRO ATC supplied flight plan is downloaded somewhere in the PMDG FLIGHTPLANS folder or sub-folders you should be able to select ROUTE REQUEST and find it manually. If you have entered origin and destination fields or the flight number field ROUTE REQUEST should use that information to find the right flight plan, or at least narrow down the choice to matching plans.

To use the COROUTE method I think you need to know what the flightplan name is and enter that name (without .RTE extension) in the COROUTE field.
