Rob, this is a really useful gauge which has now been added to my testbed ifDG/PSS merge Airbuses right next to the toggle for your outstanding pushback/taxi gauge. One thing I noticed with your read me file: it mentions a .cab file but there isn't one in the zip file, just the xml and bmp files so I put these in my gaugesrcb-gauges folder and the gauge works fine. The new gauge could be particularly useful for me as I have been trying to test and log take off distances at various weights, temperatures, winds and configurations and this has been a fairly tortuous process using trial and error (mostly error) and AFCAD2. A cheeky request if you don't mind: you have allowed the user to a) disable the reset or :( reset at an entered height. But is there any way you could program in option c) to stop the TD figure continuing when it reaches the height entered in the RH box, say 35 feet. In this case it would keep the TD figure in the window until it is manually reset.I know this will be of no interest to most people so it's probably not worth your time and effort, but it would really help me with my calculations if you do have some time.

I can't be thankfull enough for the gauge. It does exactly what I need it to, is simple and I

Rob,Thanks for writing and posting this gauge. I'll give it a try this weekend and let you know what I think. Now, can you build a gauge which will treble my FPS, increase the bass in my sub-woofer, and let the dog out for a wee? ;)

Hi Rob,1. There IS a .cab file in the zip file (DistCalc.cab)If you see the .xml and .bmp file, it means that you have also unzipped this .cab file.(Winzip, or other extraction programs are usually able to "unzip" .cab files as well).2. It's very easy to change the gauge the way you want it (if I understand you correctly), but not in the same gauge. I would have to make a derivate of it. (no problem, I'm willing to make it).So this derivate would not RESET the TD when crossing the ResetHeight, but instead stops increasing untill the TD value is reset by clicking the value; iow. setting the new "point-0" is ONLY done manually.Should this "stop-incrementig-TD" be with increasing Alt, decreasing Alt or both ??If you contact me via normal Email, I'll do the change.Cheers, Rob B.(PS. Thanks for the "spelt" vs. "spelled" reply in the other post :-
