Fly Tampa CYUL for FS9 on older system

Featured Replies

Hi.

I have been out of flight simulation for a few years now and have only recently come back to it - a bit. Two kids, marriage, a new job etc has not left me any real time to fly.

I'm considering purchasing Fly Tampa's CYUL, but have concerns about my hardware's ability to handle it. I have an Athlon FX60 dual core processor and 768MB NVidia card and, I think, 2 Gigs of system RAM. Very old technology, I know. I can run Fly Tampa's KBOS smoothly enough with my LDS 767. Would CYUL be a lot more demanding than, say, the KBOS scenery?

Thanks in advance.

Adam

Hi, CYUL fan !

You can get VERY nice CYUL stuff, and,

"old-machines-compatible" there:

library_avsim_net/search.php?CatID=root&SearchTerm=*jutras*&Sort=Added&ScanMode=1&Go=Change+View

( change _ _  for . . ) after COPY and PASTE in the browser's [address bar].

Blue skies.

I don't think you ever need to worry with any of Fly Tampa's products, including CYUL. They are all high quality but run smoothly. That's why their reputation is so good - great sceneries with excellent performance. I don't think your system will have any problem at all. Go for it! With those two kids, you deserve all the fun you can get!

Cheers

Ian
