Hi guys, have done research and YouTube viewing on this but nothing like insight from those who have this set up..

 

I use Jeehell A320 software so my display is really just the scenery out the front window (2 monitors for gauges below)..

 

My question is at the moment i have a 3840x1080 resolution due to 2 x 27" monitors used as one...

 

The projectors that are high def are heinously dear in NZ.. would it be a catastrophe to have a lesser resolution for the outside views? It looks like the commercial sims and motion simulators don't run 1080?

 

Ideas before i buy?

I have 3 projectors that I run in only XGA. I do this both to keep up frame rates (3 projectors + 1 monitor) and because i was able to buy the projectors used for only $80 USD each. Even with the lower res, i wouldn't pass it up because the immersive experience is fantastic. I figured the immersion factor would out way the crisp graphics... and thats what its all about to me... being there! Life size if possible!

 

What resolution do your projectors run at?
