FSX Crashes out upon close

Featured Replies

I'm sure there are a million reasons for this considering the complexity of the program, but about 8 out of 10 times, when I esc back out to the FXS free flight screen, then hit the X to close FSX, it won't do a clean quit of the program. It gives me a crash dialogue and then says FXS is restarting. Below I have listed the basic setup and add ons I am running with FSX..

FSX Acceleration - ran in window mode

PMDG 737NGX - latest update

PMDG 777-200LR/F - latest update

EZDok v1.15

Active Sky Next w/ SP1

REX Soft clouds - Latest Release

ImagineSim KCLT Airport Scenery

FEELTHERE ERJ-135/145

vPilot for VATSIM

My Machine specs are:

Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 7 Motherboard

Intel Core i7 4790k

16GB RAM

Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit

Samsung Evo SSD

EVGA GTX 750 1GB

I feel like it has something to do with EZDok, but i'm not entirely sure..any guidance would be appreciated! Thanks!

If it gives you that idiotic "Do you want to send this crash info to Microsoft?"  I always say no and

uncheck the restart FSX.  Check your Events Viewer to see what faulting module is in the

crash report.

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!
