January 30, 201511 yr Hey guys, I am doing some test flights with my new paint scheme. For some reason I really like this simpler version of the paint job, without the extra stripes and tail art. For the shape of the Duke, this simplicity works well. Anyway, I added some of my humor and minor details, tho the version I upload will be 'clean' of my little bits, tho I'll email the 'bits' version to those who request it when it is finished. Added a little Giants logo to the nose gear door. The main gear doors are mirrored textures so added a nice Celtic symbol. Hey Chunk and any other Giants fans here, if you have TDukev2, I'll send you a Giants edition if you like. Don't Panic...I used an interior here from the PDuke. I liked the Brown and Tan interior for this paint. Created a custom panel and yokes by merging textures. Added inflight magazines,...so you can read them for the articles lol. Like the CCR song Born on the Bayou, keep chooglin on down to New Orleans A nice climbing shot Monterrey to New Orleans non stop in a T-Duke? You better believe it, bring the supplemental O2, set your cabin alt to about 15k to keep the pressure diff. happy, climb to FL350, set a nice econ power setting ~87%NG & 1850RPM getting about 140KIAS, aided by a healthy tailwind and let those PT6s really shine. I'll probably upload this scheme pretty soon (without the bits), I am pretty satisfied with it. The version with the tail striping is still a good scheme, tho it will be better with different colors. I am already thinking of a few more color variations, such as a raspberry/wine red with black trim, on a polished silver base.
