GEX Product Updates With Steam Support

Flight1 Software has officially announced that all Ground Environment X region products have been released with texture and interface updates. GEX now supports both Flight Simulator X boxed edition and Flight Simulator Steam Edition. All GEX region product installers have been updated at the Flight1 web site with the latest versions. FSX Steam Edition patches are free to GEX users through the automated interface update system for all GEX regions. Simply click the 'check for updates' button in the GEX interface to update the following products.

GEX North America *New version 2.0 now available

GEX Europe

All GEX regions listed below and their free region patches will include a free upgrade to GEX North America version 2.00 with older versions of GEX NA installed:

GEX Africa and the Middle East

GEX Atlantic and Pacific Tropics

GEX Asia and South America

GEX Australia and Antarctica

Current GEX users may add additional regions by simply clicking the name of the region in the GEX interface and the Flight1 product page will open for the product.

*GEX North America v2.0 for GEX NA v1.096 (and older) users

For GEX customers still using the older GEX USA/Canada, or, version 1.096 GEX North America product and who did not wish to purchase another GEX region with the discount coupons we offered over the last several years, or do not wish to add another region now, by popular request Flight1 is now offering a economical upgrade option to the new full GEX North America v2.0 product for less than half the cost. This upgrade provides a massive tile color and texture source change to the entire North American continent over the original version. *New Product release: GEX Australia and Antarctica -

The region that completes the GEX World System provides regional coverage of Australia, New Zealand, Antarctica and New Guinea. This product will also include arctic locations such as Iceland/Greenland as well as added support for FSX Steam Edition. Product comes with a free update to GEX North America v2.0 with older versions of GEX NA installed. Due to development time for FSX Steam a GEX holiday pricing announcement was delayed. All full GEX region download products are now priced at $29.95 for a period of time. We hope this price reduction helps after the holiday season.
