February 5, 201511 yr Hi, Seems no one is reading the King Air B200 subforum, so I'm trying on this level instead. Need some help with Reality XP GNS 530 installation on my Carenado Beech B200 King Air. I did run the RXP530 installer I found in the Carenado_B200_King_Air folder. And I got the message that RXP530 installation was successful. Having done that I also found what I believe is the RXP 530 in the left GNS slot of the panel. At least there’s a “XP” in the upper right corner of the unit. But – when I try to start it nothing happens. It seem completely dead. There is a clickable spot on the upper left corner of the unit (over the “Garmin” logo”) and when I click that a completely black pop up window opens up. (See below). The original Carenado GNS 530 works fine. In the Carenado King Air panel.cfg file I find rxp listed in two places: ------------------------------------ [Window01]Background_color=8,8,8size_mm=524,378visible=0ident=10000window_size= 0.310, 0.370window_pos= 0.550, 0.160no_luminous=1zorder=7 gauge00=rxpGNS!GNS530, 0,0,520,378gauge01=B200KA!ToggleCAR530, 64,0,384,32 --------------------------------------- and: ----------------------------------------- [Vcockpit01]Background_color=0,0,0size_mm=1024,1024visible=0pixel_size=1024,1024texture=$Panel_1 gauge00=GAUGEB200!Radio_CTL32_DME, 720,738, 304,140gauge01=GAUGEB200!Gauge_ALT_ALERT, 720,880, 303,143 gauge02=GAUGEB200!Radio_CTL92_ATC, 243, 514,236,252gauge03=GAUGEB200!Radio_CTL62_ADF, 243, 768,236,252 gauge04=rxpGNS!GNS530, 0, 0, 512,372gauge05=GPS530_3D_B200!GPS_5302_3D, 512, 0, 510,372 gauge06=CarSoundB200!CarSound, 0,0,5,5gauge07=B200!GPS_Twas, 0,0,1,1 gauge08=B200KA!ToggleCAR530, 0, 0,64,32 ----------------------------------------------- I run Windows Vista 64 bit (SP2) and FSX plus Acceleration pack. (And I must say I love the Carenado B200. Nice to fly and gorgeous to look at.) Very thankful for some help on this. Peter Peter Vestergren
February 5, 201511 yr This may not help, but it's worth a try. Try installing SimConnect again from the main FSX folder. If things like this happen, its always worth reinstalling SimConnect.
February 5, 201511 yr Author Thank's Chris. Will try that. (Although I must admit I never heard of SimConnect before... ) Peter Vestergren
