hey guys

 

started getting the black screens randomly in FSX 

im running a GTX 980 with latest drivers 

 

using the following addons 

ASN 

EFB 

PRO ATC X

UTX 

FTX GLOBAL 

 

i did some searching on here, and seen results for many different possible causes 

however 

i do think the EFB may be causing it 

i ran some flights without it and the screen didnt go black 

 

anyone have any insight into what may be causing this

Are you using the DX10 Fixer?

Yes, I ran up against this recently.

 

What you need to do is to 'Uninstall' the Fixer's scenery library. Re boot the fixer and  allow it to reload it all.

i guess i will try rolling the drivers back
