thanks for the recommend i have done that and it makes no diffrence FSX is the only aplication that it happens on i play GTAv and BF4 for hours with no issues any other ideas Thank you JHo

hey everyone i'm getting screen blackouts with my 980 i can still hear the sounds, however nothing i do will bring the screen back. i can ALT ENTER and its still black within the FSX screen.... i've tried other drivers and the latest with the same results anyone having the same issues? im pretty much ready to try out P3D at this point and Bin FSX let me know if anyone has any experience with this Thanks JHo

Thanks guys i rebuilt my CFG and tried a couple hour flight last night. however im always awaiting the black screen of death if i get another i will try drivers further back for my 980 keep you all posted Thanks JHo

its rather shocking that a single screenshot of the NGX can lead us to this convo the times we live in wow great work PMDG looking forward to trying it out JHo

also do you guys rebuild your CFG When you install a new driver i'm wondering if my black screen issues could be caused by that let me know Thanks JHo

fellas im getting this problem with 980 GTX, ive tries both latest versions of the drivers. i cannot get out of thr black screen no mater what.... also stops my desktop from refreshing i can move the window around and " Paint " the desktop back. if i CTRL ALT DEL it will bring the desktop back. however my FSX is still in black window mode im running DX10 with the fixer any other ideas ? flew half of my flight from kjfk to klax last night with no black screens so far so good ill try and complete it today and see if it holds Thanks JHo

Hello anyone else having issues with Driver Version 347.09 on my EVGA 980 i'm getting screen blackouts can anyone else confirm if these drivers are causing issues i've narrowed it down to these drivers, they stop responding i'm gonna try an older version Let me know Thanks JHo

great ill check that out, could this be what is causing the black outs as well???? now that i think about it it does seem to match the sun position.... i did think about that briefly ill report back also i've tried different cables from my video card and disabling ASN, EFB and PRO ATC, however i dont think any of those are the culprit Thanks JHo

Hi everyone Hoping some of you can help me with an issue i'm having just recently started happening first off my system DX10 With steves fixer FSX MS ASN EFB PRO ATC FTX GLOBAL UTX the machine is a new rebuild 4790K OC 4.6 ( Stable ) 32GB Ram 1800mhz GTX 980 4 gb Driver Version 347.09 My issue is this when im panning around the cockpit ( PMDG NGX 800 ) and i look in a particular spot, the screen whites out.... see photos Then at any given random time i get the black out screen my mouse still works and sounds still continue to play, im in full screen so if i Alt Enter out it will minimize and my desktop will not refresh.... i can move the FSX window around and refresh the desktop with the window. basically i'm stuck with a black out i've did some searches on here and seen a few people have the same issue its very strange Any ideas Thanks Everyone

when i had this issue in FSX i had to re download the installer and reenter license info that worked for me in FSX not sure about P3D

Nice work Chris im a person that very much loves to fly at night can you tell me, will you be completing the 50 us states and if so when also is there an info page that tells how these work with FTX and UTX Thank you JHo
