Pushback distance 300 vs 200

Recommended Posts

I've been using the P3D 777, 200 and 300 and find the pushback on the 300 continues considerably longer than the 200 even with the same settings in the FMC.  Using the default distance, and nose angle of 90, (Left or Right didn't matter) I will be pushed way too far, and finally stopping halfway into the next gate building.  The plane makes a very large arc instead of a tighter arc. Then I'm told to set the brakes as usual. If I try the same setup with the 200 it works like it should.  Is there a setting or similar that I can adjust? or is this expected behavior.  The FSX 300 version did not act this way.

Thanks,

Mark

Both versions did the same, be it FSX or P3D. That is why there such a big take-up for FSDt's GSX, which achieves the push-back sequence as good and as near as in real-life. If you think that FSX did not do the same, do some research when the PMDG 737NGX first saw daylight. This matter was a constant topic.
