Prepar3d v2.4 - Weight Settings

Featured Replies

Good Morning PMDG Support + Community:

The 777 for Prepar3d v2.4 has been an ABSOLUTE pleasure to learn and fly! I hands down love this aircraft. I do however have a very quick question for the PMDG team.

- When it comes to Prepar3d v2.4 settings, am I reading this correct, are we supposed to enable (check) under attachments - ignore weight and ignore forces? Just want to make sure I'm applying my settings correctly to fully utilize PMDG's technology.

Thanks!

If that's what it says (can't check as I don't have P3D), then it'll be correct. It'll probably have something to do with how it affects the flight model. In FSX they recommend disabling turbulence effects on aircraft because it's rubbish and doesn't work well at all with the 777/737 and can cause weird behaviour.

Cheers,

Gotcha... Yea, the Intro PDF has a quick snapshot of settings, and noticed the weight items were checked (i.e. not using Prepar3d weight effects). I'll disable them for the time being, and will stick to the guide published by PMDG.
