Openscenery Libs

Featured Replies

Does the OpenScenery installer put a reference in the scenery_packs.ini file?

I had installed awhile back and thought for sure I saw entry there but none now.

If there is supposed to be an entry what would it look like? I know my location would be different but I could adjust.

I double checked and tried to install again but apparently it sees it is there or there was an error, because it says "Done" but nothing happened.

Thanks

Libraries would look like any other entry.

You could delete your .ini file and let X-Plane regenerate it. (It will do it alphabetically, based on your folder names).

However, the loading order is not important for libraries.

Hey Mario, I did delete the ini file , but no reference to the openscenery libs showed up after it was rebuilt. Do you have these lib's installed and if so

is there an entry in your ini?

I noticed in some of the airport folders, they have one titled opensceneryx where others whom also use the lib's I was told, do not have the folder.

I am trying to understand how the linking and references work.

I know that when I installed the libs it took forever, so there is a huge pile of files somewhere on my drive.

OK, I found the Opensceneryx Folder on my desktop. I must have accidentally dragged it out of the custom scenery folder. Anyway, I put the folder back into the customer scenery folder and now have a ref to the libs. Some of my Airports look a little bit better now LOL
