i can't edit the cruising alt in flightplan with the keyboard. I'm just able to change it with the cursor-keys or the arrow-buttons within 500 ft steps, unlike the 

cruise speed below that field, where i can direct input a value.

That's just how it is. Cruise altitude goes in 500ft increments.

that's O.K., but i think, it would be more comfortable, as an example if i wish to change alt from 20,000 to 30,000, mark the "2" and replace it by pressing the "3" key, than pressing the cursor up key twenty times.

You can use the PgUp and PgDn keys to change the cruising altitude in 1000ft increments. Alternatively, you can drag the cruising altitude up and down in the vertical profile view: the blue line in the chart.
