APU problem

When using 737NGX, in FSX, and loading "short" at state in FMC, I cant get the APU running, even if the fuel pumps are on!
And I have no failures set, but I still cant get the APU started, and do get "APU severe failure" message under "failures" in the FMC!?
 

Please help to solve this!

Hmm, as far as I could see, the APU gauge was not showing anything, but will check again

You are right, it IS running!

I was to eager and did not wait until the aircraft was fully ready and tried to start the APU
