How do you shut down the engines ?

 

When you power up the GPU does it "automatically" connect to or does it need any switch ?

If you look carefully on the throttle quadrant there are two silver colored hooks just forward of the throttles. The easiest way to see them is in the VC just shift+enter a few times to raise your eyepoint. Clicking on the hooks will raise them up to shut down, click to lower before starting. They are the fuel feeds.

 

The GPU will power up when you select it in the pop up. Another solution to the battery running down is to select infinite battery in FSUIPC.
