SP2 simconnect help request

Tried posting in an older topic, but I think it is better to do a fresh request for advice.

I installed a fresh copy of p3d v2.5 into D:\Prepar3Dv2

Had to instal from msi as .exe would fail five minutes in (downloaded twice, installed using admin rights and so on with firewall and anti virus off).

It works, but is missing simconnect files, which I installed from redist folder.

I cannot get the sp2 file to install, and it keeps failing and that means the missing wheels and everything else related.

This is what I get when I try to instal:

version+="10.0.61259.0".type="win32".processorArchitecture="x86".publicKeyToken="67c7c14424d61b5b".

Thanks for any advice, as everything out there, including PMDG advice is to install the simconnects found in redist folder.
