March 20, 201511 yr MCE newbie here with a first problem. I have no problem communicating with the FO which understands me and responds but I cannot communicate with default ATC. When I press the delete key or the joystick assigned button (S4 paddle on my warthog), I get a continuous tone until the release and the ATC does not respond to anything I say... What do I miss ! March 21, 201511 yr Author OK problem solved with the help of Ben at MCE. The issue was basically that 1/ PCaviator sells an obsolete copy which has to be updated 2/ the underlying continuous tone is normal and has replaced the static. Good aftersale service they've, the MCE folk.
