This is still bothering me

Hi Guys, I would like to know how I can change the default position of the aircraft in spot view on startup. I don't care for the 1/4 front view and would like to see the airplanes from the side. I don't know how to edit the cameras or even where to start. I tried the FSX trick and placed the airplane in the position and saved as a default flight but when I selected the next plane it reverted back to the 1/4 front view. This has been bothering me for a while but I really need to figure this out once and for all. I mostly plane watch so when I click the next plane then I have to manually turn the plane with the keys which does because a pain after a while.I would appreciate any help or advice.
