Settings I have it set to a Full Moon and I am only getting a big half a moon...I have the latest version of ActiveSky didn't know if that had something to do with it..I have Active Enviroment set to ICS+LAST Sky Env...So I don't know what is going on can anyone offer some suggestions or help please? Thanks,

June 20, 200520 yr >I have FE installed and I don't see any Moon options.>Right, Michael.FE doesn't containt Moon textures, also how dark the clouds/sky are. And they are appropriately suited for different kinds of a moon.Although, Activesky V does contain different moon options, so you might look into Active Environment of ASV.
June 20, 200520 yr Oh so at night on the sky options the wax and wane, and crescent moon just determines the amount of light you will have for the night sky then? Thanks,

June 20, 200520 yr Thanks eveyone for the help here; there does seem to be some confusion.Flight Environment does have night time sky textures and it does affect the brightness of clouds and indeed the environment to a degree. The moon in FS9 is realistically depicted in terms of its' phases and if you are only getting half a moon it's because of the time and date you are flying. Look in your diary and find a full moon and it will show up, in game, especially around midnight.FE will only make the clouds look a little brighter and the reason why it's called full moon for example is because maybe the brighter clouds it represents better serve to depict a full moon situation. Same rule applies to wax and wane, a half way point if you like and the clouds will be a little darker in that situation.FE does not have any actual moon bit maps as it was felt the game shows these pretty well in terms of brightness, size and clarity. We thought about making the moon more detailed but then it would not look so convincing to allow for atmospheric distortion on a typical day.Peter
June 20, 200520 yr Roger That... Sorry for the confusion there.. Got it sorted out in the ole noggen now... Thanks Again Folks,
June 21, 200520 yr Is there any way to change the phases or the way FS shows them? I ask because it really doesn't follow the phases correctly. This weekend it has been a full moon, but in FS it shows half. I remember reading something a while ago saying the game was always a few days behind, does anybody know how to change this?
June 21, 200520 yr Move the date forward!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
