Dual monitor and DX10

I like to stretch my view over two monitors. It works fine in DX9, but when I switch to DX10, one of my screens stays black. Does anyone know if Steve's fixer will fix this problem or is there another way to stretch FSX across 2 screens in DX 10 mode.
