April 1, 201511 yr Hey folks, I mainly use Overland/SMS models. I keep my FSX rather simple.... I only use AFCADs (as long as available) with default airports and try to get enhancements that keep it global (I wouldn't use Ultimate Terrain e.g., because it's just locally). This way I can fly where and with what I want without anything standing out because of a huge quality gap (imagine a flight from flytampa KSFO to default KABQ or flying with a PMDG 737 and the next flight with a PAD CRJ-200). Aircraft in the level of Overland blends in quite well with this setup and VirtualCol complements Overlands fleet on the regional side quite good as far as I could tell. I'd like to add that Virtual Interior (no cabin is ok, but no cockpit is a no-go for me) is a must which unfortunately keeps me away from many great freeware aircraft like Project Airbus A32X. I got the E170 and E190 and so far I'm quite pleased to see that I more or less got what I expected. But I noticed a significant difference between the 170 and 190 from the little testing I've done. I tested take-off on both with 100% fuel and the E170 seemed to skyrocket, while the E190 was more what I've expected. Is this normal and if not perhaps some suggested tweaks to this? Thanks and regards, Chris Amadeo Araujo
April 1, 201511 yr I think there was the need for tweeking if I remember well on the 170. It was way to overpowered. Some simple config changes did the trick. As for the PA 32x, there are thousends of variants with VC in the different libraries. Some withe the default 321 cockpit others with some mods to make it more real. So I really do not see the point here. I' ve got dozens of PA 318, 319 ,320 and 321 which of course do all have VC' s.
