I am presently in a flight between KSEZ and KPHX, at 11,500 feet ASL via ASN. The plane is the Carenado SkyMaster C377 v3.

I am simply amazed at this setting, and what it has done for general performance on my system.

Nothing else, I have ever done, with any kind of modification/tweak in-board, or out-board has given me 7-10 FPS increase, like this one simple .cfg setting has.  Why in the world, was this not ever discussed on AVSIM, before the now locked thread. Wow!...

Here I was thinking I needed to upgrade my GTX680 2GB card...and yet...I am running at nearly 40 FPS, in unlimited.  I mean, it fluctuates...yes... between 30 and 40 FPS at any given time...but I had never been able to climb much above 32 FPS, continually.  That no longer is in play.

Funny, that at first, I didn't think it was doing anything, but obviously, I was wrong on that account. I had to fly over a few flights post setting, to see the diff.  So, I don't wish to start another whole long thread, but felt that I should tell others, that on my system, as published under my Profile, this one setting in P3D v2.4 (with nothing else touched, within, or without) has given me a 25 percent increase 30 to 40 FPS at the top of range.

Simply amazing....

No new card required at present.  Happy with the GTX680 2GB for now...

Back to the flight....half way to Phoenix....

Post Edit: Correction...between 30 and 44 FPS (peak) on this flight.  Wow.....
