April 8, 201511 yr Commercial Member I keep checking the Aerosoft site and still don't find any information regarding obtaining the update procedure. Have I missed something in the threads? John Fast To obtain the SP1d update for the DVD version of the PMDG 737NGX manufactured and sold by Aerosoft or the download version sold by Aerosoft, please follow these steps: Visit Aerosoft's support page here http://support.aerosoft.com Select "PMDG - 737 NGX" from the product drop down list and press the "Show support" button. Note that the other two PMDG 737 entries above this one refer to the old legacy FS9 version, make sure you select the correct one. Click the zip file download link at the lower right. You will be prompted to enter in your valid license key in order to download - get this from the inside of your CD/DVD box or from your purchase confirmation email or Aerosoft user account in the case of the download version. Once the file is downloaded, please follow these instructions to install - note that this is not an update or patch install, it requires a full reinstall of the airplane: Uninstall your old versions of the 600/700 (if you own it) and then the 800/900 from Control Panel/Programs and Features. Make sure you have your desired FSX environment (ie FSX retail alone, FSX:SE alone, or both installed) *before* you install the new version of the PMDG 737NGX. If you're using FSX:SE make sure it's been Run the new installer, it will prompt you to choose FSX retail, FSX:SE or both. Changing these sim install options later will necessitate uninstalling again first, so make sure you have the configuration you want. If you load the new version in FSX:SE and the gauges are blank, do the following: Navigate to this folder: <FSX:SE root folder>\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\lib (By default the <FSX root folder> is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX) Run the SimConnect.msi installer file inside the folder. Navigate to this folder: <FSX:SE root folder>\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\LegacyInterfaces Inside this folder are three more folders that each contain a SimConnect.msi file - run all three of them.
