Flight1 is excited to present the ATR 72-500 in boxed format, says AVSIM on its newspage. But the shop around my corner already sells the ATR in a boxed version for several months!! So what's new here, not even the dedicated site is new (oktober 2004). Does Flight1 pay for this advertisement?Herrie

there we go again...Sometimes Avsim is a tad late posting press releases. There's no Big Evil Conspiracy going on to hide advertising as such.

We did not re-send out this press release...A minor hiccup most likely. It (the press release) was released a while ago.

Thanks for shedding some light on that Steve. Frankly, it's getting annoying wading through publicity seeking (read cheap advertising) releases to find what is really new. I know Flight1 is not in this camp, but I've seen 3 or 4 releases before a product even hits the market, then followup releases for everything from patches to, if you can believe it, calenders. Some of them are worded so that you have to go to the publishers site and click through 2 or 3 pages before you realize the product isn't even available yet.
