Appears to be missing from your pdf documentation.  Exactly what are lateral lights and how do they affect the other lighting?  I guess I could have just experimented with this, but thought I would get your clarification.  Should this be included in the documentation?  Or did I just look far enough?

if you haven’t tried our Lateral light effect; then you are missing out on allot of visual eye candy

Lateral effect extends the 3D beam from the light bawl at the top; also vertically to the ground 

the effect is crafted with great fidelity to real world effect
