Keeps repeating "clearance on request"

Hope that I can get some help with this.  In radar contact after I request my ifr clearance the "clearance on request" message just keeps repeating but the clearance is never provided after I acknowledge the message. I just keeps repeating. Has anyone had any experience with this problem and found a solution?

Please see page 155 in the rcv43.pdf users manual. Sometimes it happens for a few repetitions in its simulation of heavy ATC load. Just keep acknowledging each command in sequence.

Thanks for your suggestion. I have followed those directions to the letter, the reply never goes past "clearance on request".  I figured after acknowledging the same message more than ten times the clearance would be provided but this isn't the case.
