Completing FSX

Featured Replies

If FSX was never finished off by the Microsoft sub-Contractors 'Aces' what are they doing now?

Are they contributing to the tweaks most of us know about now or, are these coming from other people with the skills required?

I imagine they either retired or moved on to other projects. FSX is not being changed by MS or Aces though. That has now been passed to Dovetail, although Dovetail are working on a flight sim from MS Flight, not FSX

Thanks for your comment Chris but I was reliably informed that Dovetail was given the rights to supply only and none for changing or altering the program.

They have changed bits to FSX, however they can't change much of it. E.G they added some of the fixes in to the config, got multiplayer working etc. However, they are building a new flight simulator based on Microsoft Flight, which is where most of their effort is going
