Prop RPM

Featured Replies

The real world PC-12 automatically regulates prop RPM. This Carenado rendition responds to the prop rpm setting in FSX.

Should I just leave the prop at max since Carenado really does regulate RPM behind the scenes? Or did they totally neglect this little detail?

In the PC-12, the prop always runs at 1700 RPM in flight.  So yeah, just leave the prop control full forward and don't touch it.  I guess the language in Carenado's documentation is a bit confusing in that regard.
