Saved cold and dark flight

I tried my own saved flight (FSX Acceleration)  using the developer's web site instructions.

 

The flight loads .. Bat etc all off but the engines are running ... if I shut the Jet pumps off then it goes cold and dark?

 

Also, intermittent the Pure Cold and dark will not let me start the engines??
