Paul Rebuffats Spitfire

Featured Replies

Recently D/L Pauls Spitfire-mk-VIII.zip. It loaded just fine, just unzipped (using folders) in FS2004 Aircraft folder like instructions say. It iscame up under aircraft and loaded fine, it has sound etc. BUT no GUAGES on instrument panel, gps and radio stack come up ok. Any idea why no guages, what have I missed??? Looks like like a good freeware plane. Any ideas on problem or another Spitfire I could get freeware or payware. Reinstalled 3 times, same problem.ThanksChuck

Now that you mentioned "payware", you can't beat the RealAir versions of the Spitfire. Some of the best flight dynamics in "any" sim, ultra-smooth VC gauges due to a new process, and very frame rate friendly.Check it out, here:http://www.realairsimulations.com/L.Adamson

Have you checked what gauges are required by the panel.cfg file?

Another possibility - tun on the avionics with the Avionics Master Switch???

Usually when gauges do not show up, but were provided with the package, it's because either they didn't get installed into FS9's 'gauges' folder or the plane's 'panel' folder. I can't remember how this package installs (been too long) but if it was zipped (as opposed to a self-installer) the gauges may have been in a separate folder, and may need to be manually put in FS9's 'gauges' folder. Or, they can be put in the plane's 'panel' folder. - dcc
