AI Traffic While Online

Featured Replies

Hi All,I have noticed that when I open up an online session under FS9 all AI traffic is disactivated. Yes, I know this makes sence as when online there is the online traffic + ATC ...However, when there are low periods of online ATC / Traffic it would be nice to be able to fly online ... but have the ai traffic available.Does anyone know if / how I can activite ai traffic while having an online session open? Thanks a lot!Grant

When Multiplayer is on, AI is off.

Hi Bob -Thanks! I am aware of this. But how do I turn AI traffic on while being in multiplayer mode? Thanks!Grant

Sign off Multiplayer, and then AI traffic will load

unfortunately it isn't possible to have AI traffic while in multiplayer mode. Maybe something for the next version?- dcc

"...it would be nice to be able to fly online ... but have the ai traffic available...."Just think of the hassle that would cause online ATC who would not be able to control the AI traffic. You either fly online with other real pilots or you fly offline with AI traffic, you can't have both and it really wouldn't be a good idea to.

Are you 100% sure that MyTraffic or UltimateTraffic would'nt allow this ?

"In thrust we trust"

The addons that you speak of only create flighplans based on real world airlines so that the AI traffic present in FS can follow them. THey are not separate programs...they just create the flightplans, and FS sends the AI aircraft on there way based on those plans. -hope I was of some assistance--Ramon-
