Range Check Error when undocking VDUs

Featured Replies

Hi.

I love Linda, however, I have discovered that ....

When using the PMDG 737, if I undock my PFD or ND , Linda gives me a "range check error".

Also the "FSX Sync" stops displaying the current aircraft (it defaults to -- Aircrafts -- ).

Linda 2.6.3

P3D 2.5

Win7 x64

PMDG 737NGX

While this isn't critical, I  thought I would post my findings anyway, to help diagnose the general Range Error issue mentioned elsewhere.

Also, Linda doesn't 'reset' when I unload P3D and reload P3D.  I have to kill Linda and restart it. Is there a way to avoid this?

Specs: Win10, 4790K, nVidia 1080ti, Saitek Yoke+Quadrant+Radio/Switch and AP panels, VRInsight 737 overhead, Virtual Avionics 737 MCP. 3 x 1440*900 main display + 1024*600 VDU display. NLR V3 Motion seat. Oculus DK2 CV1 HTC Vive VR headsets.

Hi Smoothchat

Can you try 2.6.3 v2 (an earlier build) on the Download subforum that some users have reported does not give the Range Check Errors? This should solve you first problem.

With regard to LINDA not closing on exiting your Sim, I know it can take up to a minute for the Sim to correctly exit and for LINDA to close properly. The alternative is to close LINDA first before exiting the Sim.
