Palm Trees in South Florida with FTX trees.

I was flying into Miami last night in the A320, and noticed on approach that I didn't see any Palm trees.  I lived in that area for 10 years, and I was surprised that there wern't any. I have Orbx FTX trees installed  and I am wondering if Orbx trees does away with the palm trees, or P3D never had them to begin with.
