PMDG center says i dont have NGX installed to steam!?

Hi, Oscar,

 

A few questions:

 

Do you have the NGX aircraft in the FS Steam Simobjects/airplanes folder?  Do you see the PMDG NGX folder there?

 

If you do see the NGX folder in Steam, what version number shows in one of the aircraft.cfg files (you can open it w/ notepad)?

 

Do you have both FSX:MS (Box) & FSX:SE (Steam) installed?

yes i see it in game and the folder and yes i think i have them both installed i tried reinstall and stuff

Hi, Oscar,

 

Not at my FSX computer right now, but that looks like the most recent version.

 

I think the problem has to do with deleting the Box version, especially if you did it in a non-standard way (such as deleting the files manually).

 

The simplest thing I think would be to uninstall and reinstall the NGX.  Uninstall using either the NGX installation file, if it gives that option, or Control Panel>Uninstall Programs.  Then reinstall using the NGX installation file, and make sure only Steam edition is checked.

 

If you have added liveries installed, the Op Center should find them.
