Wilco Fleet blues ...

I hope this is relevant to this board, I just wanted to air an experience that I had with the Wilco fleet CRJ 2004 product, or shall I Shall I say the CD ROM specifically in this case?Basically I ordered the product within the past week and put it into my rom drive, the drive don

Hey Zach, Sorry to here your problem. I know how you feel. It hasn't been the best month for me with computers. I have built many over the years, and the darn Rom drives always seem to go first! I would let Wilco know what happened. In this day and age, I don't think they will replace the software, but it sure can't hurt to try. Your first thing however is the obvious... Buy a new rom drive. The problem you described happening once before was one of those subtle hints of many the drive was giving you before it bit the dust. Good thing is they are so cheap any more. I am sure you already know this. I hope things work out for you. Best regards, Jeff

Extract all the bits Zack, package them up and send them back asking for a replacement.I have experienced this myself and was told at the time, that it was either just bad luck, a faulty disk batch or simply that they used a low priced blank CD stock option. Its not uncommon to find this in CD's that have originated from certain parts of the world where cost competitive production is the main driver.
