August 11, 200520 yr While flying FS2002 with aircraft b747_400, I hear voices when I am approaching a runway and get below about 2,000 feet.At that altitude I hear, TOO LOW; TERRAIN; PULL UP then at 400 feet I hear
August 11, 200520 yr Are you still on FS2002 ? WOW !!!!!! You are missing some candy mate !About your question : I have no IDEA !!!! Sorry ! :-)
August 11, 200520 yr FS2002 was a peach of a sim. I still fly it myself occasionally. Too much invested in it, too many interesting aircraft that can't yet be had in FS2004.Jeffrey, an easy way out might be to go and get yourself another panel for your 747. There were several excellent panels made for the 747 in FS2002 - a search will bring them up - which might save you the bother of fiddling about with Scott's if those callouts bother you. August 12, 200520 yr Before you rush off and abandon the panel I'll take a quick look at it to try and find the offending gauge that you could then either remove or replace with the FPDA gauge? If you have the name of the downloaded file I will search for it using that criteria to make sure I get the same panel.Andrew BrownROARING THIRTIEShttp://www.gordiusfs.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/
August 12, 200520 yr Author You are indeed hearing some addon gauge sound files (which are considered a bonus by alot of people *grin*). Look for gauges with "GPWS" and/or "callout" in the names.
August 16, 200520 yr Gordius, thanks for the offer buit thanks to E I found the gauge and disabled it. I suppose it may be considered a bonus to some, but the fact that that I was told to "pull up" and a siren went off at about 1500 feet every time I approached was too much for me to handle. If anyone is interested it is "737.WCgpws.gau." I saw it on the panel but was unable to determine what it did. It's a small square divided into two parts with the upper part designated "pull-up" and the bottom part too small to read.Landing is a pleasure once again. Thanks to all who responded.Regards,Jeffrey

FS2007 will be with us in less than a year :) Quote from MS Flight Team Lead: "We’ve made some guesses"
