October 2, 201510 yr Hello All, Whenever I click on a display such as the CDU, PFD, ND, etc... to "pop" it out in Prepar3d V3 I recieve the following error. "Error creating child window" I can click ok to dismiss the error however I cannot interact with the popped out window. My clicks go through the window and interact with things behind the window. I can close the pop out window by clicking the center of the blanked display on the main panel. The x in the upper right had corner does not respond and does not close the window once this error happens. I attempted to attach a picture of the error but Im not sure how to do it. Here is a link to my drop box. https://www.dropbox.com/s/hl4d3ifmx2agsci/error.PNG My PC specs are in my signature and Im running Windows 10. Any thoughts? Prepar3D V3 bug or 737NGX in Prepar3D V3 bug, or just an issue on my system? October 2, 201510 yr Author Hello again, To be fair, I realized I had a few additional addons that don't exactly support Prepar3D V3 at this time. I was running EZdok, which we all know isn’t exactly the most stable software. I was also running Active Sky Next SP3 Beta which supposedly "supports" P3D V3. I also had FSUIPC version 4.944 installed. Im not sure if it officially supports P3D v3 or not. I was able to install it ok without issue. So as a test, I completely uninstalled the NGX, all the addons, and P3D V3. I then reinstalled P3D v3 and just the NGX by itself. No other addons. Results you ask? The error I posted originally does not occur anymore. I can easily pop out any window without error. I’m still interested if anyone else experienced the original error I posted above.
