October 4, 201510 yr I am new to P3D, shifting from FSX. Is there a scenery config file in the new version of P3D (v3)? The reason I asked is that my Aivlasoft EFB is saying it cannot find the config file and when I checked the P3D folders there really is none. Because of that it is affecting the updating of EFB with airports, etc. Regards, Michael. October 4, 201510 yr The P3D v3 scenery.cfg is in programdata\lockheed martin\prepar3d v3. this is where the active scenery.cfg has been since FSX days. you should never touch one in the main sim folder (if there is one) any more than in fsx - indeed it's safer to use the scenery library to edit anyway. but P3D dispensed with the copy in the P3D root couple of versions ago. Point Aivlasoft (in the interface) to the programdata one and you should be good to go, but I'd wait till Aivla have updated their installer/software for v3 anyway . . . And no, the location of the scenery.cfg hasn't changed with the new v3 rcommended structure . . .
